Yesterday I shared with you guys about how we can partner with Worthwhile Wear and come together to fight against human trafficking. If you missed the intro post, make sure you check it out here. I am so excited to partner with all of you- our faithful, amazing readers and give this rundown home a DIY Makeover on room at a time!
This week we’re working on what we’ve coined “Bedroom #1”- Super creative huh?? Here’s a peek at the room as it looks today… definitely needs some help!
This single bedroom is on the first floor of The Well just off of the family and dining rooms.
Here’s the inspiration board I created to get a feel for the style we’re going for.
Now, get ready for the coolest thing ever…. are you ready???
We have a Registry created for this room makeover!!
My registry.com is a site that allows you to create a registry from multiple stores- all in one place! Ah-Mazing! Jess and I have shopped online for the essentials for this bedroom makeover and I’m asking YOU to make this makeover a reality! There are items in all different price points, and everything will be shipped directly to us to use in the room makeover! Our goal is to have this room completed within two weeks- will YOU consider helping? The woman that will stay in this room over the next few years will be so blessed by your generosity and I can’t tell you how proud I am to have supportive readers that will come alongside of us to play a part in fighting for dignity and standing up against human trafficking.

My Registry is really easy to use- just pick the item or items you’d like to donate- it will take you to the store’s site for you to order- make sure you look at the quantity, color, and any other notes in the comments section- purchase the item- mark it as bought-and voila, you’ve just made a difference in someone’s life and made this blogger outrageously happy. Also, please put your name and address in if you’re cool with that, so we can send you a great big THANK YOU!
Here’s what the site will look like…
Once the items for this room have been purchased, I’ll work with volunteers to makeover the bedroom, being sure to document the whole process. I’ll be sharing the before and after post in a few weeks! Stay tuned!!
Thank you again for considering helping me help this amazing organization and cause. If you haven’t already checked out Worthwhile Wear’s website, make sure you do and sign up for their newsletter. It’s not spammy and will keep you up to date on the progress of The Well.
Okay guys- now let’s makeover this bedroom!!!

PS- It would be super cool if you could share about this on social media! Let’s get the word out- we’re going to be making over the entire house- we need every helper we can get!!
I love this idea. By being able to put something tangible in this room/house makes helping so much more real.
I did have difficulty purchasing however. I found it difficult to find the address to send it to and navigating the registry. I did succeed!! But thought I would put a bug in your ear. I order online all the time and am pretty computer savvy. Or I could be just having one of those days.
While I am at it let me say I follow your blog every week and am always anxious to see another “Knock it Off”
You guys (Jess and Monica) are great!!
Just noticed that the bedding isn’t available in twin when you click through to Target…thought you might like to know. P.S. As a Bucks County girl, LOVE the mission behind The Well. Thanks for all your doing behind the scenes help make it happen!
Thanks Caitlin for the heads up. Bummer it was available a few weeks ago. Darn!!
