It’s results time again! We got a comment on the blog today from a reader sad that CWTS is almost halfway over- We can’t believe how quickly it’s going as well! Each week just seems to get better and better. These paint projects inspired us big time!! Jess and I both want to try and tackle our own versions of almost all of these projects!!
We also wanted to take a minute to recognize the incredible hard work each of these contestants has put in. We know the pressure of having the world watching CWTS and we know the deadlines and turnaround times are insane, but these projects have been nothing short of amazing! We acquired this contest two years ago, because we knew there was incredible talent in the blog world and so much of it was undiscovered or just starting out. Those projects just make us all the more confident that we made a good choice in CWTS and we’re honored to host such talented bloggers! So mad props guys, we think each and every one of you are fabulous!
Now the hard part… the results.
And here’s the official percentage breakdown for Round 2. It wasn’t quite as close as last week, but still a tight race!
Round 2 Winner

Umm okay, can we talk about this for a minute?? This is freakin’ mind blowingly awesome! I couldn’t love this project any more than I do. I love the use of color, the geometric style, and the wood texture… so pretty much all of it! Girls you killed it on this round!
Make sure you check back tomorrow for the full tutorial on this amazing project.
And now that we know what they’re capable of with a little paint, this Round 2 prize pack is perfect for our winners!

Now the painful part… We’re bummed to let go of these 3 talented bloggers. They have so much more creativity to offer, so make sure you start following each of their blogs if you don’t already! We’re so glad they were part of CWTS2014!

Courtney with her Painted Popsicle stick Wall Tiles & Eames Chair
Here’s What’s Coming Up Next!
Next week our 6 remaining contestants will be sharing their upcycle projects- basically they’re taking something old, lame, or just blah and turning it into something worthy of Creating with the Stars. The bar is set very high, so be prepared to be amazed! Round 3 Projects will be posted Next Monday.
Tomorrow, begins the tutorials for the top 3 PAINT projects- make sure you check back each day this week to see how these projects were made!
And if you haven’t linked up your own paint project, you still have time. We’ll pick a fav and that project will be featured on Sunday!
There is also still time to enter our fabulous beach vacation giveaway to Punta Cana from Apple Vacations, I had a wonderful time, but now Jess says it’s unfair to have a tan in April! Ha!
