It’s results time again! We got a comment on the blog today from a reader sad that CWTS is almost halfway over- We can’t believe how quickly it’s going as well! Each week just seems to get better and better. These paint projects inspired us big time!! Jess and I both want to try and tackle our own versions of almost all of these projects!!
We also wanted to take a minute to recognize the incredible hard work each of these contestants has put in. We know the pressure of having the world watching CWTS and we know the deadlines and turnaround times are insane, but these projects have been nothing short of amazing! We acquired this contest two years ago, because we knew there was incredible talent in the blog world and so much of it was undiscovered or just starting out. Those projects just make us all the more confident that we made a good choice in CWTS and we’re honored to host such talented bloggers! So mad props guys, we think each and every one of you are fabulous!
Now the hard part… the results.
And here’s the official percentage breakdown for Round 2. It wasn’t quite as close as last week, but still a tight race!

Make sure you check back tomorrow for the full tutorial on this amazing project.

Next week our 6 remaining contestants will be sharing their upcycle projects- basically they’re taking something old, lame, or just blah and turning it into something worthy of Creating with the Stars. The bar is set very high, so be prepared to be amazed! Round 3 Projects will be posted Next Monday.
Tomorrow, begins the tutorials for the top 3 PAINT projects- make sure you check back each day this week to see how these projects were made!
And if you haven’t linked up your own paint project, you still have time. We’ll pick a fav and that project will be featured on Sunday!
There is also still time to enter our fabulous beach vacation giveaway to Punta Cana from Apple Vacations, I had a wonderful time, but now Jess says it’s unfair to have a tan in April! Ha!
Woo hoo! My picks were spot on! The projects in this round were seriously incredible! Can’t wait wait to see what’s in store for round 3.
That pixelated wall = mind blown! I’ve never seen anything like it and I was so excited to see it on Monday! Those gals sure are seriously talented! Yet another impressive round from everyone!
[…] Round 2 of Creating with the Stars was our Paint Themed Week. There are a million different ways to paint a wall, but friends- you’re about to see one of the coolest techniques the world has ever known! Mallory and Savannah’s Pixelated Wall Treatment is SO my style, and I am really excited for them to share the full tutorial with us today! I’ve been promising Kaden I’d re-do his room for a while now, and I think I just might need to try my own cool boy’s room version of this project very soon! […]
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the painted hutch…will there be plans for that if we want to recreate it? I have the perfect spot in the house we are buying for something like this, but would need more information on how to do it to make it work.
Hi Karla,
Yes, the baby blues hutch tutorial will be posted on Saturday since it was in the top 3! Thanks for stopping by our blog, glad you loved these projects!
