Hey Guys! Since I launched my new brand (The Game of Love) I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with some fabulous people and explore an entirely New (to me) niche- the whole love, relationship, marriage & wedding world. Next month I’ll be working with a fan favorite Bachelorette (yes, like red rose legit bachelorette) so stay tuned for that, but today I want to introduce you one of my new favorite podcasts- One Extraordinary Marriage & I’m going to share some drool-worthy master bedroom inspiration.
I was introduced to Tony and Alisa a few months ago and we clicked immediately! Their blog and podcast (which is one of the top marriage podcasts on all of iTunes) is focused on helping couples build intimacy- not just physical- but, emotional, spiritual, financial etc. They aren’t afraid to discuss hard topics, and they give simple, effective advice and suggestions for how to navigate through marriage.
Last week I was listening to their weekly show while I was driving and I laughed (out loud), blushed once or twice, and was challenged to approach a few things differently with my husband. I’d honestly never listened to a marriage-centric podcast before I started Game of Love, but now they’re something I listen to regularly. It can be so easy to let life, kids, work, pretty much anything and everything come before putting effort into my marriage.
One thing I love about Tony & Alisa is the amount of free resources they provide- Eric and I talk all the time, we both work from home a lot, and we spend more time together than the average couple, but some days it can feel like we’re just talking about our schedules, our kids, whose doing what, when, etc… Tony & Alisa’s resource 6 Incredible Questions are just that… 6 questions, but they’re tried and true and heck they seemed so simple, but totally got us talking about far more “real” things than we would without having been intentional.
Tony and Alisa said I could share this resource with you, so you click the image above or you can click HERE to download them. My personal fav is # 3- it started a very interesting convo!
One Extraordinary Marriage featured Game of Love in their podcast this week- I was so excited and feel like they did a great job sharing about their experience and the product. I also learned a totally new use for Coconut oil-yikes! You can listen to the podcast HERE.
And yes, I’m loving all this marriage talk and relationship advice, but you know I’m still all about the design too! So, in honor of us putting in some extra effort and trying out the 6 questions... here are 6 bedrooms I’m loving!
I’m admittedly in a peach/pink phase. Just wait until I share my new breakfast nook with you. I love the grey, copper, pink combo here!
Black, white (lots of it), and a modern farmhouse vibe is perfection!
Perfect blend of classic and modern… throw in a black wall and I’m sold!
Neutrals done right… and that knit blanket- must have!
I’m not 100% sure about a lamb in my bedroom, but I still loved this space.

I love pops of color, and the adorable puppy pics are so fun!

Well, I don’t know about you, but I now want to re-do my master bedroom. It doesn’t take much to get me itching to re-design a space- seriously. Well, even if you aren’t planning a bedroom makeover, take a few minutes to check out One Extraordinary Marriage– Tony and Alisa are awesome and their resources are helpful for any relationship!

Loooove those bedrooms, and interested in trying that podcast! I thought I’d share a marriage + love podcast that I’ve been loving: Marriage Is Funny at http://www.meetthepeppers.com – they’re a newer podcast that my husband and I tuned into on a recent roadtrip. A great mix of light, deep, and conversation-starting!
Hi Amye- I love them! I’ve been at a bunch of NYC events with Jessie! I am excited to see their podcast grow- so glad they started one! Thanks for sharing!!
How am I just now seeing these kind words from you sweetie pies?! Thanks for the note Amye! So excited to hear you’re doing well, Monica! <3 XO
