Hi Guys! Today I’m sharing some quick and easy Halloween Makeup Hacks that I did on Live! with Kelly. We teamed up with Pinterest to try out some of the top trending Halloween projects that will hopefully inspire you to create your own version! You can tune in to watch the segment (9am EST), but if you missed it, don’t worry– I’ve got the details for ya!

Since we’re not all makeup artists, here are some really awesome, but doable ways to do your own makeup this Halloween. Also, make sure you check out our Halloween Hacks Pinterest Board where we’ll be adding our inspiration from the whole week!

1. Zipper Face

This one’s pretty simple— start with some Spirit Gum and put that on the back of your zipper in the placement you’ll want on your face. For this hack, you can either go gory or glam, so depending on which one, start layering your makeup, and blend that until you’re satisfied with the look.

2. Mermaid Skin Hack

For this hack, you’ll want some fishnet stockings, a cream-based makeup, and a powder-based, maybe even some shimmery options. With the fishnet over your face, start by using a brush to dab the cream-based makeup on top of the netting. Then go over that with some powder makeup so it sticks to the cream layer. You can also add accenting colors to your eyes and lips for a more cohesive look.

3. David Bowie

To get this classic David Bowie look, you’ll be doing some glorified face painting. You can start by outlining the lightening bolt on your face with a light pencil liner, then fill in with some face paint or colored lipstick, the choice is yours!

4. Pop Art Hack

To get this graphic look, you’ll want to start with a clean slate— wash your face, and apply a thin layer of foundation to your face and neck area, or wherever you’re going to “comic book yourself.” Then, kind of like you’re drawing someone, you’re going to take a dark, solid makeup pencil or stick of Halloween face paint, and accent your facial features, jawline, eyebrows, etc. Next you’ll want to add some comic book dots all over using a liquid liner or Halloween face paint. For features that pop, use some bright eyeshadow and bold lipstick, and you’re ready to go!

5. Face Tattoos

Face tattoos couldn’t be easier, I mean, just add some water! This is another hack that can go creepy or pretty, and they can also add that little extra something to any costume! You can also creep your gory face tattoos with some fake blood by simple putting some on a paintbrush, and flicking it onto your skin.
