I’m a big ideas person- you might already know that. What you might not know, is that because I focus a lot on big ideas, I’m sometimes terrible with followthrough. I’m pretty much the official spokesperson for the Good Intentions Club. Seriously, I currently have 2 cards sitting in our “junk drawer” with thoughtful, handwritten messages for some friends that lost their grandmom 3 months ago… seriously 3 months ago. Now, it’s been too long, so it’d be way awkward to send them. That kind of thing happens to me all.the.time. Why am I telling you this? Because sometimes it happens with my Christmas cards…
This year, my cards from Minted are far too awesome to fall prey to “the junk drawer phenomenon.” Check out these bad boys!
I’ve been eyeing these mini book cards up for a a long time- I almost pulled the trigger on them last year, but went another direction. This year, they were the perfect fit!
Now… if you know you’re on my Christmas card list don’t read the inside of my card here- be patient and get it in the mail! And I seriously wish you guys all could be on my list, but with stamps at like 40-something cents a piece, I’d be broke!
This Minted card was perfect for us because we actually have a child that ended up on the naughty list one year- true.story. Well, Santa got her a few presents, but he didn’t give her a stocking- just a letter with some tips for improvement.
The older 2 kids got their own page, with all their stats, their Naughty/Nice list status and a little blurb.
Same deal for the “littles,” which is what we call Kira and Callen.
There was even enough space for Eric and I to have a little page of our own. And, yes, we did mention our college countdown-ha! We’re gonna rock the empty nest when the time comes. Until then, we’re loving the ages our kids are at right now!
I love how the Minted mini books really let us tell a bit of a story- I used to do the whole Christmas letter thing for years, but then I got lazy and stopped, so this card was the perfect marriage between the two!
The quality of these cards is amazing. They’re on a super heavy card stock, have cool mini grommets on the side, and even the backs have a fun herringbone pattern.
Minted didn’t make my decision very easy. I spent an eternity on their site pouring over all their cards. Here are some others that were serious contenders.
Love the luggage tag!
I’m a huge fan of all the foiled pressed options this year!
Watercolor Bunting – Foil Pressed
Vintage Library Card – Year in Review
Not feelin’ the picture? How about this little guy?
Before we get to the part where I giveaway a Minted gift card- you’ve gotta take a quick peek at their customizable wrapping paper…
I’m partnering up with Minted to giveaway a $175 gift card so one lucky winner can order their own amazing Christmas Cards!
The winner will be announced on Black Friday- so be sure to check back and see if you’ve won!
I love getting a peek into your life- if you’ve got an extra Christmas card this year, send it my way!
This totally inspired me. I like to handwrite my cards and give that year’s updates, but that gets tiresome. I love the one that shows the country and gives highlights – esp since my bf and I moved to TX this year!
