Before we jump into Week Two: Paint, let’s take a look back at Week One: Knock Off round for anyone who may have missed out and is new to Creating with the Stars! It was an amazing week, and it is only going to get better…wait until you see what’s in store for week two!

Round 1 RECAP

12th Place:

Katherine with her Anthro-inspired Green Leather Armchair

The House of Smiths and Pretty Little Lady Design

10-CWTS-Team

00ChairPic3

We love the way Katherine took a very inexpensive, thrift store find and transformed it into an Anthro-inspired green leather arm chair. Who doesn’t love Anthropology inspired?!  Unfortunately she was one of the bottom three who left us, and has since shared the tutorial for this chair on her blog, Pretty Little Lady Design. We’re so glad Katherine was part of Creating with the Stars top twelve, at 18 years old she was our youngest! YOU ROCK GIRL! We’re also going to miss our blog star Shelley, she’s such a sweetheart. Thanks for being a part of Creating with the Stars ladies.

11th Place:

Kristin with her Worlds Away Anna Bar Cabinet Knockoff

The Hunted Interior & Bliss @ Home

CWTS - Knockoff Overall

We just love Kristin’s style; it’s bold, chic, romantic, just look at her beautiful round one project! Oh, and have you seen her fireplace makeover that she used as her Creating with the Stars entry, amazing right? Sadly, Kristin is another contestant we are saying good-bye to, we’re going to miss her but hope she will come back to visit us. (As we do with everyone from Creating with the Stars!) Plus, we hear Kristin was a wonderful blog star, thanks for all you did girl!

10th Place:

Jesse with his Restoration Hardware Timber Slat Coffee Table

All Things Thrifty and Nine Red

9-CWTS-Team

Restoration Hardware Knock Off-001

Who else loves having all of these guys around for Creating with the Stars this year? Jesse’s slat coffee table was a great design, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to put him into the top 9. He has a lot of fun DIY projects on his blog, we just love that he isn’t afraid of color. Check out his awesome China cabinet makeover; now don’t you just want to have a spray painting party with that gorgeous color?! Brooke, thanks for coming back to Creating with the Stars to be a blog star again this year.
