Today I’m guest posting over on The Home Depot blog to talk about how I finally got around to tackling the most embarrassing room in my house, the laundry room! For so many years it just looked like this…
Piles of blankets sitting on a shelf that would fall down when the kids tried to grab just one of them and all the laundry room essentials in the world that you need for clean clothes sitting atop the washer and dryer. Please say you’ll still be my friend after looking at this mess?! Confession: I don’t do laundry! Yup, just keepin’ it real here folks! I’m pretty lucky that Eric takes the time to do this, there aren’t many husbands out there who take on this household chore. So, I wanted to surprise my guy with something that would be more functional for him….
How did I make this happen? Check out the full tutorial over on The Home Depot today and share with us what your laundry room looks like, if your husband does it all or shares in the task, and if you still love me for being a disorganized hot mess!
Cute! But where did the blankets go??
It looks so awesome! I love those built-ins…so clever and different. And the treatment on your washer and dryer is awesome.
The washer and dryer decals got me thinking! Love the makeover
